Seahawks' J.T. Barrett: Signs with Seahawks

Barrett signed with Seattle on Saturday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Barrett was waived recently by New Orleans but found a new home after just nine days. He'll provide depth at quarterback for the Seahawks in the wake of Geno Smith's knee injury. With Smith only slated to be out seven-to-10 days, however, Barrett's time with the team may not last long.
