Shelton Gibson: Let go by Eagles

Gibson was cut by Philadelphia on Sunday.

The 25-year-old's only appearance last season came in the playoffs, when he logged 13 snaps (two on offense) in the Eagles' wild-card loss to Seattle. Gibson also recorded three catches for 59 yards across 20 games in his three-year career with the Eagles. He'll look for employment elsewhere and may have just enough NFL experience to make another roster around the league.
