Texans' Brandon Weeden: Will serve as backup Saturday

Weeden will back up quarterback Brock Osweiler for Saturday's wild-card playoff game against Oakland.

The Texans have declared Tom Savage out for the playoff game, so Weeden becomes active for just the third time this season. No knock on Weeden, but Osweiler would have to be hurt or play awfully for Houston coach Bill O'Brien to make a switch.
