Vikings' Cedrick Lang: Waived with injury tag

The Vikings waived/injured Lang (lower leg) on Monday, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

This move is no surprise after Lang suffered an injury in Saturday's preseason loss to the Jaguars that will require season-ending surgery. Lang's loss leaves the Vikings struggling with depth behind starter Tom Compton. If he clears waivers, he'll revert to the team's injured reserve.
