Smith agreed to a contract with Minnesota on Wednesday, NFL reporter Josina Anderson reports.
The veteran cornerback spent last season in Tennessee, supplying 15 tackles (11) solo and a pass breakup across 12 games. If he makes Minnesota's final 53-man roster following the preseason, Smith will likely make his biggest impact on special teams. He's played a total of 449 special-teams snaps over the past three seasons.
