Zach Gentry: Let go by Vegas

Gentry was released by the Raiders on Tuesday.

Gentry failed to secure a spot on Vegas' 53-man roster, as the Raiders went with Brock Bowers (foot), Michael Mayer and Harrison Bryant at tight end. With 41 regular-season games of NFL experience under his belt, the 6-foot-8 Gentry has a decent chance of securing at least a practice squad spot somewhere or could be an appealing option for another team looking to bolster its tight end depth.
