Chiasson was released by Arizona from his professional tryout on Monday.
Chiasson was unable to earn a contract with the Coyotes for the 2022-23 season following the conclusion of training camp. He is currently a free agent after he posted 13 goals and 22 points in 67 games with Vancouver last year.
