Avalanche's Alex Newhook: Two-point night in win

Newhook had a goal and a power-play assist in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Hurricanes.

Newhook helped J.T. Compher open the scoring on the power play. In the second, Newhook was able to find the back of the net despite being hooked on the play. The 21-year-old forward has 31 points in 65 games. Newhook also has seven points through seven April contests.
