Both Murray and Bowen Byram (head) wore red sweaters Monday ahead of what was supposed to be Wednesday's home game against the Stars. The NHL has since postponed Wednesday's contest and a Friday rematch of the same teams in Dallas, which gives Murray an extra six days before the Avalanche's next game Sunday at home to Anaheim. The defenseman is tentatively scheduled to return next Tuesday, Jan. 4.
