Avalanche's Zach Parise: Out Friday

Parise (lower body) left Wednesday's game against Detroit and will miss Friday's game against Minnesota, per Michael Russo of The Athletic.

Parise has been solid since being acquired by the Avalanche, recording four goals and three assists in 15 games played. The 39-year-old will continue to be a third-line threat for the Avalanche come playoff time. He's currently considered day-to-day with his injury.
