Capitals' Ilya Samsonov: Exits early Thursday

Samsonov left Thursday's game against the Islanders with an apparent injury, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

Samsonov took an accidental hit from teammate T.J. Oshie just 30 seconds into the first period. He's likely being checked for a concussion in the locker room. Vitek Vanecek entered the game in Samsonov's place.
