Sandin registered an assist and three blocked shots during Monday's 5-2 win over the Flames.
Sandin had gone six games without a point prior to Monday's helper, which gives him a new career high of 21 points in 59 contests this season. Having recently signed a five-year, $23 million contract extension, the 24-year-old will be a mainstay in Washington's defense corps for years to come.
