Fitzpatrick will not receive a qualifying offer from the Blues on Monday and will become an unrestricted free agent, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.

Fitzpatrick played in just three games this past season for AHL Utica in which he went 2-0-0 with a 1.65 GAA and .930 save percentage. With Jordan Binnington locked up long term and Colten Ellis and Joel Hofer in the system, it seems Fitzpatrick was the odd man out, though he could still sign a minor-league contract to remain loosely tied to the organization.
