Fitzpatrick was reassigned from the taxi squad to AHL Charlotte on Saturday.
Fitzpatrick signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Panthers on Jan. 14. He's been a pro since 2018-19 but has yet to make his NHL debut, spending most of his time in the ECHL. In 10 games with ECHL Greenville this season, Fitzpatrick has put up a 2.54 GAA and .911 save percentage.
