Jets' Dylan Samberg: Suffers high-ankle sprain

Samberg will be sidelined for a minimum of 6-8 weeks with a high-ankle sprain, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.

Samberg was set to fight for a spot on Winnipeg's Opening Night roster during training camp, but he'll now almost certainly be sent to AHL Manitoba once he's recovered from his ankle injury. The 22-year-old blueliner picked up one goal and seven points through 32 contests with Manitoba last season.
