Svechnikov (undisclosed) will be out longer than day-to-day, Scott Billeck of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
The Jets have yet to release a definite timetable for Svechnikov's return, but it's probably safe to assume he'll miss Winnipeg's next few contests at a minimum. The 25-year-old winger has only picked up eight points through 28 appearances this season, so his absence shouldn't impact many fantasy lineups.
