Sustr was reassigned to AHL Syracuse on Wednesday.
Sustr served as an emergency depth option versus the Golden Knights on Tuesday and will now head back to the minors. Until Erik Cernak (lower body) is cleared to play, Sustr will be a candidate to serve as the team's seventh defenseman but shouldn't be expected to log much in the way of minutes.
