Beaulieu was released from his professional tryout by the Hurricanes on Friday.
Beaulieu has played 11 seasons in the NHL. He picked up four assists in 52 games with the Ducks in 2022-23. The 30-year-old will now look elsewhere for NHL employment, though he may have to settle for a two-way deal.
