Samoskevich (upper body) experienced a flare-up after returning to the ice Tuesday, per Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.
Samoskevich probably won't be back with the main group until later this week, so he's likely to miss at least the next two preseason contests. He produced 22 goals and 54 points across 62 regular-season contests with AHL Charlotte in 2023-24. Samoskevich's injury could hurt his chances of starting the upcoming campaign in the NHL with Florida.
