Rasmussen has recovered from his upper-body injury that forced him to miss the last seven regular-season games in 2023-24, according to Max Bultman of The Athletic.
Rasmussen is practicing alongside Andrew Copp and Christian Fischer at the opening day of training camp Thursday. He ended last season with a career-high 33 points in 75 regular-season appearances. The 25-year-old is expected to see third-line duty in 2024-25 along with being an integral part of the Detroit penalty-killing unit.
