Danforth (upper body) isn't expected to play Wednesday versus Philadelphia, per Joe Yerdon of Bleacher Report.
Danforth has been evaluated and is termed day-to-day, so he still might be an option for Saturday's game in Washington. The 33-year-old has no points, two PIM, three hits and two blocks in six outings this campaign. Danforth's exit from the lineup coincides with Jason Zucker's expected season debut after Zucker missed Buffalo's opening nine games due to sports hernia surgery.
