Stars' Roope Hintz: Returns from IR

The Stars activated Hintz (illness) off injured reserve Friday, Matthew DeFranks of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Hintz's IR designation was retroactive to Dec. 9, so he's eligible to return and will play Friday as expected. The first-liner will look to continue his recent production, as he's recorded 15 points (10 goals) in his last 12 games.
