Hunt was put on waivers by Minnesota on Friday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Hunt has no points, four PIM, seven hits and 11 blocks in 11 appearances with the Wild in 2026-27. He will presumably be sent to AHL Iowa if he goes unclaimed on waivers.
