  • Rangers' Cole Beaudoin: Dropped to minors

Beaudoin was reassigned to AHL Hartford on Wednesday.

Beaudoin will trade places with Justin Dowling, who was called up in a corresponding move. While the 20-year-old has moved up and down between levels recently, he's only appeared in four games for the club and logged just 3:29 of ice time versus the Lightning on Tuesday. This move will allow Beaudoin to see significantly more minutes in the minors, which should further his development more than sitting on the bench with the Rangers.

  • Rangers' Justin Dowling: Up from minors

Dowling was summoned from AHL Hartford on Wednesday.

Dowling had a goal and an assist in four regular-season appearances with AHL Hartford in 2026-27. The 36-year-old also has nine goals and 26 points in 154 career regular-season NHL games.

  • Red Wings' Emmitt Finnie: Two-point effort in OT loss

Finnie delivered a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Devils.

The Red Wings' second line carried their offense on the night, as Finnie, Michael Brandsegg-Nygard and Alex DeBrincat potted all four goals and combined for seven points. It was Finnie's first multi-point performance of the season, and after managing 13 goals and 30 points in 82 regular-season games in his NHL debut last season, the 21-year-old has two goals and three points through the first six contests in 2026-27.

  • Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Bags two goals in loss

Crosby recorded two goals and placed two shots on net in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to Chicago.

Crosby shook off his slow goal-scoring start to the 2026-27 campaign with a pair of tallies for Frozen Frenzy. He found the back of the net just under seven minutes into the opening period to level the score at one apiece before he tied the game in the third amid the Penguins' comeback effort. While they ultimately fell just short, Crosby's performance could spark him into reclaiming his point pace from season's prior. Overall, he's up to two goals, four points, 18 shots on net, six hits and three blocked shots across seven outings. He remains a high-level fantasy option given his role for the team and his 90-point ceiling 22 seasons into his illustrious career.

  • Blackhawks' Anton Frondell: Adds two helpers in win

Frondell distributed two assists in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Penguins.

Frondell's hot start to the 2026-27 campaign continued Tuesday, as he logged his third multi-point game of the season by providing a pair of helpers. Each of his assists were primary passes, and he distributed one to each of his linemates, Teuvo Tervainen and Tyler Bertuzzi. Overall, the 19-year-old Frondell has a goal, six points, 11 shots on net, eight hits and four blocked shots across seven appearances. He's carried the momentum he generated at the end of last season into the new campaign, as he's done anything you could ask of a second-line center. While he'll battle Frank Nazar (suspension) for that role upon his return, Frondell's ceiling continues to grow with each multi-point game, making him an excellent stash or streaming option in fantasy moving forward.

  • Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Slides power-play helper in return

Bedard tallied a power-play assist, posted a plus-1 rating and placed three shots on net in Tuesday's 5-3 win over Pittsburgh.

Bedard wasted no time getting involved offensively upon his return, as he tapped a one-timed pass quickly towards his linemate Roman Kantserov, who unleashed a slapshot that hit twine on a first-period power play. It was an encouraging sign to see the 21-year-old Bedard log 21:06 of ice time Tuesday, as it appears his surgically-repaired shoulder isn't going to limit his playing time. As the team's top-line center at even strength and on the power play, Bedard is poised for another big year in fantasy during the 2026-27 campaign, where he'll look to challenge his career high of 75 points, which he compiled across 69 regular-season games a year ago.

  • Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Nets two goals including GWG

Teravainen scored two goals, recorded an assist and placed three shots on net in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Penguins.

Teravainen shook off his relatively-slow start to the 2026-27 campaign Tuesday, as he notched his first pair of goals in heroic fashion. He made the home crowd roar just 28 seconds into the opening period with his first goal before he later netted the go-ahead tally with just over four minutes remaining in regulation. He also logged a secondary helper on Tyler Bertuzzi's empty-net tally, bringing Teravainen's season totals up to two goals, five points and five shots on net across five games. He projects to have a middle-six role for the Blackhawks moving forward, which should make him a noteworthy streaming option in points-only fantasy leagues periodically throughout the new season.

  • Frank Nazar C | CHI

Blackhawks' Frank Nazar: Eligible to play Thursday

Nazar has served his two-game suspension and will be available versus the Jets on Thursday.

Nazar had been working as the No. 1 center prior to his suspension but with the return of Connor Bedard, the 22-year-old Nazar figures to be relegated to a second-line role and could find himself with the No. 2 power-play unit as well. Despite some demotions, the Detroit native should continue to offer top-half fantasy value.

  • Devils' Evan Rodrigues: Opens account for current campaign

Rodrigues scored a goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win over Detroit.

The 33-year-old center opened the scoring early in the first period, snapping a shot past John Gibson from the slot after a Red Wings turnover in their own zone. Rodrigues then helped set up Anthony Mantha for a tally in the second period to tie the game at 2-2 in the see-saw affair. The points were the first of the season in six games for Rodrigues, as he looks to produce his sixth straight campaign with 10-plus goals and 30-plus points.

  • Jack Hughes C | NJ

Devils' Jack Hughes: Three points including OT winner

Hughes scored the game-winning goal and added two assists, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime victory over the Red Wings.

Hughes also put a game-high eight shots on net and came away with a plus-2 rating. The star center had a hand in second-period tallies by Nico Hischier and Jesper Bratt before Bratt returned the favor in extra time, springing Hughes for a breakaway on John Gibson that resulted in the GWG. Hughes has points in four straight games, and through six contests to begin the season he's racked up two goals and eight points, with four of his six helpers coming on the power play.
