  • Cale Fleury D | SEA

Kraken's Cale Fleury: Stuck in press box

Fleury was scratched for the 19th game in a row in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Red Wings.

The Kraken made a rare change on defense, but it was to get Josh Mahura a game while Jamie Oleksiak was scratched. Fleury is at the bottom of the depth chart with Seattle carrying eight blueliners, so it doesn't look like he'll have a clear path to playing time any time soon. He could be a candidate for a conditioning loan in the AHL at some point if the Kraken don't want to risk losing Fleury on waivers.

  • Kraken's Brandon Montour: Tallies in loss

Montour scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Red Wings.

Montour has three goals and three assists over his last seven outings. The 31-year-old defenseman is up to six goals, 15 points, 59 shots on net, 33 blocked shots, 26 hits and a plus-3 rating through 22 contests this season. He's a steady source of offense from the blue line who can offer decent all-around production as well.

  • Adam Larsson D | SEA

Kraken's Adam Larsson: One of each in loss

Larsson scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Red Wings.

Larsson snapped a seven-game point drought with this performance. He tied the game at 2-2 in the second period and set up a Chandler Stephenson go-ahead tally later in the frame. For the season, Larsson has two goals, seven points, 27 shots on net, 37 hits, 57 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 26 appearances. The 33-year-old blueliner fills a shutdown role in the Kraken's top four and will likely top out around the 20-25 point range, though he can also pile up blocks.

  • Red Wings' Simon Edvinsson: Registers two assists

Edvinsson logged two assists, three shots on goal, three hits, four blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Kraken.

Edvinsson had one of his better all-around games of the season. He supplied helpers on goals by Andrew Copp and James van Riemsdyk during the second period, allowing the Red Wings to stay level at 3-3 heading into the final frame. Edvinsson has three assists over his last five games, and he's up to nine points, 32 shots on net, 34 hits, 54 blocked shots, 42 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 26 appearances. While he has struggled offensively, the 22-year-old is playing a more physical game that could make him an option for deeper banger leagues.

  • Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Picks up pair of points

Bouchard scored a power-play goal, dished an assist and blocked two shots in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Jets.

Bouchard has two goals and eight helpers over his last six games. The 26-year-old was part of the Oilers' four-goal burst in the first period. The defenseman finding a rhythm on offense has elevated the team's scoring lately. He's up to five goals, 27 points (eight on the power play), 73 shots on net, 38 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through 29 outings this season in a top-pairing role.

  • Kings' Drew Doughty: Provides two helpers

Doughty notched two assists, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Blackhawks.

This was Doughty's second game back from missing seven due to a lower-body injury. The 35-year-old defenseman has immediately retaken his top-pairing spot and should continue to see significant minutes as long as he can stay healthy. He's up to two goals, eight assists, 26 shots on net, 31 blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-10 rating through 21 appearances.

  • Kings' Mikey Anderson: Lights lamp Saturday

Anderson scored a goal on two shots, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Blackhawks.

Anderson stretched the Kings' lead to 5-0 in the third period. The 26-year-old defenseman has been separated from Drew Doughty for most of this season for various reasons, but the two were reunited on the top pairing for this game, and it worked wonders. Anderson has two points over his last five outings and a total of two goals, seven points, 17 shots on net, 29 hits, 40 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating through 28 appearances. He's still on track to have a chance at his third 20-point campaign in four years.

  • Kings' Brandt Clarke: Scores twice in big win

Clarke scored a pair of goals on four shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Blackhawks.

Clarke earned his first multi-goal game with this performance. He's now matched his goal total from the 2024-25 regular season (five). He's added nine helpers, 57 shots on net, 35 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating over 28 appearances this year. He's on track for a 40-point campaign and should continue to see top-four usage and power-play time throughout the year.

  • Canadiens' Bryce Pickford: Keeps rolling with hat trick

Pickford scored three goals in WHL Medicine Hat's 5-1 win over Wenatchee.

Pickford continues to put up mind-boggling numbers for a defenseman. He has 20 goals this season in just 28 games, matching his total from 48 regular-season contests a year ago. Pickford has 36 points, a plus-29 rating and 128 shots on net in total. With seven goals and a helper over the last three games, it's likely the 19-year-old will be earning some WHL honors for his work this week.

  • Kings' Samuel Bolduc: Supplies three assists

Bolduc logged three assists in AHL Ontario's 6-1 win over Calgary on Saturday.

Bolduc is thawing out after an eight-game cold spell. He's earned four assists over his last three contests and now has 10 points in 19 outings this season. As long as the Kings stay healthy on defense, Bolduc is unlikely to see much usage at the NHL level but should maintain a steady role for Ontario.
