  • Joseph Woll G | TOR

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: In goal Tuesday

Woll (lower body) will start at home against the Blackhawks on Tuesday, according to Joshua Kloke of The Athletic.

Woll will make his first start since Dec. 4 in Raleigh after missing four consecutive games because of his injury. The 27-year-old is still officially on injured reserve, per the NHL media site, but that tag should be lifted in short order. Prior to getting hurt, Woll had won back-to-back outings, posting a phenomenal 1.20 GAA and a .960 save percentage across that span. The Blackhawks, who sit 24th in the NHL with 2.84 goals per game this season, will be without Connor Bedard (upper body) on Tuesday, so this could be a favorable matchup for Woll.

  • Aaron Ekblad D | FLA

Panthers' Aaron Ekblad: Two helpers in Monday's win

Ekblad produced two assists, one shorthanded, in Monday's 5-2 win over the Lightning.

The 29-year-old helped set up tallies by Sam Reinhart early in the first period and Brad Marchand midway through the second, with the latter proving to be the game-winner. It was Ekblad's first multi-point performance since Oct. 11, and with Seth Jones dominating power-play minutes among Florida defensemen, offense has been tough to come by for the rest of the team's blue-line crew. Through 31 games this season, Ekblad has just one goal and 10 points with 55 blocked shots, 46 shots on net, 34 hits, 20 PIM and a minus-7 rating.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Two-point effort against Bolts

Verhaeghe picked up a goal and an assist in Monday's 5-2 win over the Lightning.

After having a hand in what proved to be the game-winner by Brad Marchand midway through the second period, Verhaeghe found the back of the net himself in the third. Verhaeghe has five multi-point performances in his last 10 games, a sizzling stretch in which he's racked up eight goals and 16 points.

  • Penguins' Stuart Skinner: First goalie off Tuesday

Skinner was the first goalie to exit the ice Tuesday, Wes Crosby of NHL.com reports, indicating he'll tend the twine at home versus Edmonton.

Skinner will be starting against his former club, while the Oilers go with the man he was traded for in Tristan Jarry. For the 27-year-old Skinner, it will mark his Penguins debut after having gone 11-8-4 with a 2.82 GAA and two shutouts in his 23 outings with Edmonton this year.

  • Jets' Logan Stanley: Lights lamp again Monday

Stanley scored a goal and put four shots on net in Monday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Senators.

Stanley put the Jets in the lead Monday with his goal near the end of the second period. The 27-year-old defenseman is having a career year offensively with six goals, which is five more than his previous career high. He has scored half of his goals this year over his last four games and totaled a season high of four shots in Monday's OT win. His change in confidence to start firing the puck is evident, giving him the potential for a double-digit goal total by the end of the campaign. While his goal-scoring pace will likely cool down at some point, he is a solid streaming option in most standard formats and could hold his own in deep leagues for the rest of the season with 12 points, 35 shots on goal, 54 hits and 40 blocks through 32 games.

  • Sam Reinhart C | FLA

Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Shines on special teams in win

Reinhart scored two goals, one shorthanded and one on the power play, in Monday's 5-2 win over the Lightning.

It's the fourth time in his career Reinhart has found the back of the net while Florida's been both a man up and a man down, establishing a new franchise record. The veteran winger has been locked in for more than a month, getting onto the scoresheet in 14 of the last 17 games while piling up 10 goals and 24 points. Six of Reinhart's tallies during that heater have come on special teams -- four on the power play, and two shorthanded.

  • Simon Nemec D | NJ

Devils' Simon Nemec: Placed on IR

Nemec was put on injured reserve Tuesday.

Nemec has missed back-to-back games as a result of his lower-body injury, and he'll now be forced to miss at least one more. Dougie Hamilton will continue to see the biggest uptick in ice time due to Nemec's absence, as the former has received more work than his usual allotment on the right side of New Jersey's blue line in the last two contests. With Nemec's placement on injured reserve freeing up a roster spot, Nathan Legare was recalled from AHL Utica on Tuesday.

  • John Gibson G | DET

Red Wings' John Gibson: Between pipes against Isles

Gibson will tend the twine at home versus the Islanders on Tuesday, Michael Whitaker of The Hockey News reports.

Gibson is riding a five-game winning streak during which he has posted a 2.00 GAA and two shutouts. With the 32-year-old netminder taking the first game of the back-to-back, fantasy managers can expect Cam Talbot to get the nod at home versus Utah on Wednesday.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Collects fourth straight win

Bobrovsky made 26 saves in Monday's 5-2 win over the Lightning.

The Panthers jumped out to a 4-0 lead before Bobrovsky saw a possible second straight shutout slip away late in the second period. The two-time Vezina winner has won four straight starts, allowing 11 goals on 104 shots over that stretch, and on the season Bobrovsky sports a 14-8-1 record with a 2.80 GAA and .888 save percentage -- ratios well off his usual pace.

  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Seeing specialist for upper-body injury

Stolarz (upper body) is expected to see a specialist after head coach Craig Berube told reporters Tuesday, "He's not making the progress that we thought he would make," Chris Johnston of The Athletic reports.

It was confirmed by Berube that Stolarz didn't suffer a concussion, but that doesn't change the fact that he still hasn't resumed skating and continues to be sidelined. The Leafs will get some help in the crease after it was confirmed that Joseph Woll (lower body) would get the starting nod at home versus Chicago on Tuesday. Once Stolarz is given the all-clear, he figures to split the crease with Woll, a role that will remain with Dennis Hildeby for the time being.
