A's P Tyler Clippard converts fourth consecutive save opportunity

Athletics pitcher Tyler Clippard picked up his eighth save of the season in Tuesday evening's 5-3 win over the Tigers. 

Clippard threw two strikeouts in the ninth inning, which was the first time he's done that in his past five outings. Clippard was able to come through on his fourth consecutive save opportunity. 

He now has a 2.31 ERA this season.
