Blue Jays exercise Adam Lind's option

The Blue Jays exercised a $7.5-million option on first baseman Adam Lind for next season.

Lind hit .321/.381/.479 with six home runs and 40 RBI in 290 at-bats over 96 games this season. The team could look to deal the veteran during the offseason, as he has reportedly received plenty of trade interest already.
