Braves move three pitchers up and down

The Braves made several minor moves Saturday with three right-handers. They designated for assignment Wirfin Obispo, purchased the contract of Shae Simmons and optioned Ian Thomas back to Triple-A Gwinnett.

Simmons has been tearing it up at Double-A Mississippi. He has yielded just two earned runs on 15 hits in 23 innings with just six walks and 30 strikeouts.
