Angels outfielder Collin Cowgill was forced out of Saturday's game against the Rangers after being hit by a pitch in the nose. Cowgill received stitches in his nose and taken to hospital for further testing, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Cowgill is hitting .277 with five homers and 16 RBI in 177 at-bats. His status remains uncertain for the team's final game before the All-Star break on Sunday against the Rangers.
