Diamondbacks starting pitcher Archie Bradley told reporters Wednesday he believes he will be back throwing in a few days. Bradley left his start Tuesday against the Rockies after being struck in the face by a line drive off the bat of Carlos Gonzalez in the second inning.

Bradley, who was able to walk off the field under his own power Tuesday, added his teeth are the most sore part of his face Wednesday. Although, Bradley said he does have a slight sinus fracture, but it is minor enough that he would be able to pitch if it were the playoffs. Bradley tweeted a few photos showing the right side of his face was severely swollen after the incident.

He was placed on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday, but he is hoping to be back after the minimum stint.

The rookie right-hander is 2-0 with a 1.84 ERA in four starts. He has not allowed more than two earned runs in a start.
