The Dodgers have recalled outfielder Chris Heisey from Triple-A Oklahoma, the team announced on Tuesday. Heisey was optioned to the minors on Saturday with the retrun of Yasmani Grandal, but the 30-year-old outfielder is now returning to the club.

Heisey has just one hit in nine at-bats with the Dodgers this season. With Triple-A, Heisey is batting .234 with 10 home runs and 19 RBI. He will take the place of fellow outfielder Scott Van Slyke, who was placed on the disabled list with a back injury on Tuesday.
