Dodgers sign pitcher Dustin McGowan to one-year contract

The Dodgers announced Monday they signed pitcher Dustin McGowan to a one-year contract. 

McGowan has primarily worked in relief the last two seasons for the Blue Jays after injuries derailed his career as a starter. Since the start of the 2013 season, McGowan is 5-3 with a 3.76 ERA and one save in 78 appearances (eight starts).
