For the first time in nearly a week, Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth returned to action Sunday. Werth entered the game as a pinch hitter in the bottom of the ninth. Down a run, he drew a key walk and scored the game-tying run.
Werth stayed in the game at right field and lined a double in the 11th inning. He finished 1 for 1 with a walk and two runs scored. He is hitting .281 with 12 homers and 63 RBI over 417 at-bats.
