Jonathan Villar expected to return to lineup Tuesday

Astros infielder Jonathan Villar was not in the starting lineup Monday while nursing a thumb injury, but he is expected to return to the lineup Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

"He's fine," manager Bo Porter said before Monday's game. "I just wanted to give him an extra day. He'll go through a normal workday [of batting, fielding] today, and tomorrow he should be back in there."

Villar has hit .233/.287/.429 with five home runs, 15 RBI and 11 stolen bases in 133 at-bats.
