Red-hot Blue Jays shortstop Jose Reyes needed nine at-bats to get the job done, but he did slam four hits in a Sunday defeat of the Tigers.
Reyes singled four times. Those he cranked out in the seventh and ninth drove in runs, the second of which tied the game. It marked his second four-hit performance since July 8 and gave him 14 hits in the last seven games, during which he has raised his average 10 points to .286.
