Mets option C Anthony Recker to Triple-A Las Vegas on Thursday

Mets catcher Anthony Recker was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas following the 8-7 loss to the Padres on Thursday. Recker had been the back-up to Kevin Plawecki, who will likely be the back-up to the returning Travis d'Arnaud.

Recker is batting .123 with a pair of home runs with the Mets in 2015.
