R.A. Dickey surrenders two runs in loss vs. Mariners

Blue Jays pitcher R.A. Dickey suffered a loss Wednesday, giving up two earned runs on seven hits and four walks in six innings while striking out two in his team's 2-0 defeat against the Mariners.

Dickey (9-12) has issued four walks while giving up two runs in six innings in each of his last two outings, though he was able to rack up six strikeouts in his previous start Friday. His only damage Wednesday came on a two-run home run in the first inning. Dickey owns a 3.95 ERA and 137:60 K:BB ratio in 164 innings. He's scheduled to face the Brewers next Wednesday.
