Four National League East teams -- the Mets, Phillies, Nationals and Marlins -- are "keeping tabs" on free-agent starting pitcher Brandon Webb, according to ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick.
Webb is scheduled to throw a bullpen session for interested teams sometime in January. The Rockies and Twins are also expected to attend the workout.
The 33-year-old right-hander, who has one NL Cy Young Award (2006) and two second-place Cy Young finishes (2007, 2008), is 87-62 with a 3.27 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 1,065 strikeouts in 1,319 2/3 career innings.
