Tyler Skaggs scratched Tuesday, DL-bound with hamstring injury

Angels starter Tyler Skaggs will not make Tuesday's start against Oakland and is expected to be placed on the 15-day disabled list with a hamstring injury, the Los Angeles Times reports.

It remains uncertain how Skaggs injured his hamstring, but the injury will now keep him on the shelf. Skaggs has dropped three straight decisions before landing on the shelf. He posted a 4.34 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP through 12 starts (76 2/3 innings).
