  • Rockies' Will Lamb: Signs with Rockies' organization

Lamb agreed to a minor-league contract with Colorado, Baseball America reports. The southpaw has never seen MLB action, and he struggled to a 7.46 ERA in 35.0 innings pitched at Triple-A last season. Lamb's a former third-rounder, but unless he shows massive improvement of his control, it's unlikely he will see the majors anytime soon.

  • Will Lamb: Cut by Tigers

Lamb was released by the Tigers on Wednesday, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports. Lamb has yet to make it to the majors, and his results at Triple-A have been far from promising. Over the past two seasons with Triple-A Charlotte, the 27-year-old has posted a 6.06 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 104:62 K:BB across 120.1 innings of work. He'll look to sign elsewhere, though he won't be anything more than an organizational depth piece.

  • Rockies' Will Lamb: Dealt to Colorado

Lamb was traded to the Rockies on Monday. Lamb primarily acted as a reliever in the White Sox system this season, although he also made a few starts following his promotion to Triple-A. The southpaw found a lot of success in Double-A, although he struggled once he advanced up the organizational ladder, producing a 7.46 ERA and a 1.86 WHIP with Charlotte. His strikeout numbers are solid, however, so he could create some intrigue in the future if he can control his offerings better.

  • White Sox's Will Lamb: Allows five earned runs in three innings in spring training

Lamb threw three innings this spring, allowing five earned runs, six hits, and one walk, striking out one. The 25-year-old has yet to make his MLB debut, and it seems unlikely he will this year after posting a 22.50 ERA with a 3.50 WHIP in spring training. Lamb will likely be with Triple-A Charlotte this season barring a massive improvement.

  • Rangers' William Lamb: Traded to White Sox

Lamb was traded to the White Sox on Thursday in exchange for Myles Jaye, the Fort Worth Star Telegram's Stefan Stevenson reports. This is as minor of a trade that will take place this offseason, as it involves two very unexciting pitching prospects. Last year Lamb, a lefty reliever, posted a 5.52 ERA and 27 strikeouts in 31 innings with the Rangers' Triple-A affiliate.
