Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Four more hits Friday
Bichette went 4-for-5 with a double, three runs scored and an RBI in Friday's 11-4 win over the Rays.
The 25-year-old shortstop has had a tough season overall, but Bichette has caught fire during the Jays' playoff push. He's reeled off six multi-hit performances in the last 10 games, slashing .364/.391/.523 with two homers, two steals, seven RBI and 11 runs, and his surge has helped reduce Toronto's magic number for a wild-card spot down to one.

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Another multi-hit day
Bichette went 2-for-4 with one run scored and one steal in Thursday's win over the Yankees.
For the fifth time in his last nine games, Bichette corralled multiple hits, while he also swiped his fifth bag of the campaign Thursday. Over that nine-game stretch, Bichette is 12-for-39 (.308) with two homers, two stolen bases and eight runs scored.

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Ends power drought
Bichette went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and an additional run scored in Tuesday's win over the Yankees.
Bichette extended the Jays' lead to 4-1 in the fifth inning with a two-run blast off Clarke Schmidt, his 19th homer of the year and his first since Aug. 20. The 25-year-old Bichette had been slumping coming into Tuesday's contest, going 10-for-60 (.167) with a .420 OPS in his previous 15 games. Overall, he's still slashing an impressive .304/.336/.474 with 67 RBI and 59 runs scored through 550 plate appearances this season.

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Productive in return
Bichette went 2-for-5 with a double, a run scored and two RBI in Friday's 5-4 win over the Royals.
In his first game action since Aug. 27, Bichette drove in the Jays' first run of the night in the sixth inning before smacking a single in the seventh as part of a four-run rally that put his team in the lead for good. The shortstop had been sidelined with a strained quadriceps, but he looked 100 percent Friday and ready to help Toronto try to lock up a playoff spot. On the season, Bichette is slashing .315/.344/.489 with 18 homers, 55 runs and 64 RBI in 115 games, but his three steals in six attempts are a disappointment for those with fantasy shares in the 25-year-old.

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Gets Saturday off
Bichette won't start Saturday's game against the Royals.
Bichette returned Friday from a minimum-length stay on the injured list due to a strained quadriceps, and the Blue Jays won't ask him to start on back-to-back days just yet. Ernie Clement starts at shortstop Saturday, but Bichette should resume his everyday role once he puts the injury further behind him.

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Activated from injured list
Bichette (quad) was activated from the 10-day injured list Friday, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.
It's the first day Bichette was eligible to return, and he has rejoined a Blue Jays club that currently sits a half game up on the Rangers for the final wild-card spot in the American League. Bichette did not go out on a rehab assignment, so a little rust is possible, but fantasy managers will be happy to stick him back into their lineups as soon as they're able.

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Running sprints
Bichette (quadriceps) was spotted running sprints at Coors Field on Sunday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
The 25-year-old has been out nearly a week with a strained right quadriceps, and his quick return to running is an encouraging sign for his recovery. Bichette is eligible to return from the 10-day injured list Friday, and manager John Schneider previously indicated the shortstop could be ready to be activated at that point.

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Could return next Friday
Blue Jays manager John Schneider said Friday that Bichette (quad) could return from the 10-day injured list when first eligible Sept. 8, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Bichette is traveling with the Blue Jays and did some running, hitting and light fielding work ahead of Friday's series opener at Colorado. The 25-year-old shortstop was just placed on the IL this past Tuesday after being diagnosed with a right quad strain, but the issue is apparently relatively minor. Ernie Clement has been filling in at short for Toronto.

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Lands on injured list
Bichette was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right quadriceps strain, retroactive to Aug. 28.
Bichette sat out Monday's contest against Washington after leaving Sunday's matchup with the Guardians due to quad tightness, and he will end up on the injured list after an MRI revealed a strain. It's unclear how long the 25-year-old is expected to be sidelined by the injury, though he won't be eligible to be reinstated until Sept. 8. Mason McCoy was promoted from Triple-A Buffalo in a corresponding move, though it's likely Santiago Espinal or Ernie Clement that will see most of the reps at shortstop while Bichette is out.

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Sent for MRI
Bichette, who is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals, will undergo an MRI on his right quadriceps, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.
The Blue Jays are still viewing Bichette as day-to-day after he exited Sunday's 10-7 loss to the Guardians with right quad tightness, but the MRI will reveal the full extent of the injury while guiding the team how to proceed with the star shortstop. Ernie Clement was called up from Triple-A Buffalo earlier Monday and will replace Bichette at shortstop in the series opener with Washington.
