Marlins' Alexis Ramirez: Sent to Miami
Ramirez and infielder Hayden Cantrelle were traded from the Brewers to the Marlins on Wednesday in exchange for catcher Alex Jackson.
Ramirez's only professional experience has come at rookie ball, and he last pitched with the AZL Brewers in 2019 and had a 5.15 ERA, 1.72 WHIP and 50:23 K:BB over 43.2 innings. The 22-year-old figures to remain in the lower minors with the Marlins.
