Mikolajchak (elbow) was reassigned Thursday to the minor-league side of Guardians camp, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.
This comes a few days after he was diagnosed with a sprained right ulnar collateral ligament. Mikolajchak, 25, might be in for a lost 2023 season.

Guardians' Nick Mikolajchak: Diagnosed with sprained UCL
Mikolajchak has been diagnosed with a sprained right ulnar collateral ligament, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.
The severity of the sprain is unclear, with Guardians manager Terry Francona saying the team is still determining the next steps for the reliever. It's terrible timing for Mikolajchak, as he had been positioning himself for a possible spot in the bullpen with some strong work this spring.

Guardians' Nick Mikolajchak: Leaves with right arm injury
Mikolajchak left Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks with a right arm injury, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.
The right-hander will be further evaluated Sunday morning. Mikolajchak has pitched well this spring with a 1.93 ERA over seven appearances, and is battling for a spot in the Cleveland bullpen this spring. There should be more clarity on the injury Sunday.
