Marlins' Ian Lewis: Showing some speed in A ball
Lewis is slashing .265/.347/.368 with two home runs and 16 steals through 51 games for Single-A Jupiter this season.
Lewis has flashed his speed on the bases, getting caught stealing just once, but he hasn't shown much with the bat. If his .333 BABIP sees regression, he could end up with a fairly ugly line this season. The 19-year-old shortstop is expected to grow into more power over time, but he hasn't displayed much of it so far.

Marlins' Ian Lewis: Hot at plate since being activated
Lewis (personal) is hitting in .542 with two doubles, one steal, three strikeouts and one walk in seven games since being activated at Single-A Jupiter.
One of the Marlins' top lower-level prospects, Lewis has an exciting blend of power and speed, but it's his hit tool that has been on full display in the early going (45.5 percent linedrive rate). He should spend most of the year at Single-A.

Marlins' Ian Lewis: Has yet to play this season
Lewis has remained on the roster at extended spring training to begin the season but has yet to play while dealing with a personal issue back home in the Bahamas, Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald reports.
The 19-year-old looked good in his debut at rookie ball last season, but Lewis hasn't yet had a chance to build on that performance. There's been no indication when he might be ready to resume playing, as Lewis looks to follow in the footsteps of fellow countryman Jazz Chisholm.
