Enderson Franco: Headed to Mexican League
Franco signed a contract with the Generales de Durango of the Mexican League on Wednesday.
Franco hasn't pitched in the minors since 2019, and he'll have a chance to stay fresh in the Mexican League. He posted a 5.97 ERA and 1.55 WHIP in 113 innings across 26 appearances (22 starts) at Triple-A Sacramento in 2019, and it's not yet clear whether he'll sign with a minor-league club at some point.

Giants' Enderson Franco: Dropped from 40-man roster
The Giants outrighted Franco to Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday.
Franco isn't included on the Giants' initial 60-man roster pool, either, which suggests the 27-year-old isn't much of a priority for the organization in 2020. If he goes unclaimed off waivers, Franco will still remain under Giants control, though he'll likely have to wait until 2021 to pitch again in affiliated ball.

Giants' Enderson Franco: Optioned to Triple-A
Franco was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, Amy Gutierrez of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
The 27-year-old posted a 3.38 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and four strikeouts across 5.1 innings in his first major-league stint with San Francisco during the closing months of the 2019 season. Franco's debut was a result of closer Tony Watson fracturing his left wrist in September. With the Giants bullpen operating at nearly full strength this spring, the right-handed Franco will return to the minors to continue developing until he is once again called upon to join a big-league bullpen.

Giants' Enderson Franco: Set for first callup
Franco had his contract selected from Triple-A Sacramento by the Giants on Sunday, Amy Gutierrez of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Franco has spent 2019 at Triple-A and posted a 5.97 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 98:36 K:BB through 113 innings. Tony Watson (wrist) was placed on the 60-day injured list in a corresponding move.
