Mets' Matt Rudick: Back at full strength
Rudick (elbow) was activated from the 60-day injured list Thursday.
Rudick underwent Tommy John surgery in February earlier this year and has already been given the green light to return to minor-league action. He appeared in three games during his rehab assignment with High-A Brooklyn but has yet to log an appearance for Double-A Binghamton since his activation.

Mets' Matt Rudick: Could miss season
Rudick is set to undergo Tommy John surgery, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.
While Tommy John surgery isn't as serious for position players as it is for pitchers, the timing of Rudick's injury figures to cost him most or all of the 2025 campaign. The 26-year-old outfielder slashed .239/.352/.366 with eight homers and 12 steals over 114 games at Double-A Binghamton last season.

Mets' Matt Rudick: Healthy again at Double-A
Rudick (undisclosed) has started in both of Double-A Binghamton's first two games of the season, going 2-for-7 with two walks, two RBI and a run scored.
Rudick didn't make any appearances for Binghamton after Aug. 13 last season due to an unspecified injury, but he appears to be back to full health for the start of the 2024 campaign. Before sustaining the season-ending injury, the 25-year-old outfielder slashed .266/.410/.444 with nine home runs and 12 stolen bases in 266 plate appearances for Binghamton.

Mets' Matt Rudick: Working back from injury
Rudick, who was placed on Double-A Binghamton's 7-day injured list June 20 with an unspecified injury, will begin a rehab assignment Thursday with the Mets' rookie-level Florida Complex League affiliate.
The 25-year-old outfielder was hitting .284 with nine home runs and 12 stolen bases in 58 games at Binghamton and had a 46:36 BB:K before he was deactivated three weeks ago. Rudick should require only a handful of games in the lower minors before reclaiming a spot in Binghamton's everyday lineup.

Mets' Matt Rudick: Opening eyes at Double-A
Rudick boasts a .291/.436/.509 slash line with nine home runs, 11 stolen bases in 12 attempts and a 40:31 BB:K through 51 games for Double-A Binghamton this season.
An unheralded 13th-round pick in 2021 out of San Diego State, the 24-year-old has impressed the Mets' brass this year, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports. "He's great on defense. He's great on the bases. He's just a really good player that doesn't start to stand out until you start watching him play every day," farm director Kevin Howard said last week. "So he's been the biggest pleasant surprise at the upper levels." Given his age and his 5-foot-6 stature, Rudick will need to prove himself at Triple-A before he'll be on the fantasy radar in all but the deepest of dynasty formats, but his athleticism and all-around skill set could give him a future in the big leagues as a versatile depth outfielder.
