  • Brewers' Quinton Low: Back in action for Single-A

Single-A Carolina reinstated Low (undisclosed) from its 7-day injured list Thursday.

The 20-year-old right-handed pitcher/first baseman will return to action for Carolina for the first time since late April after he had been sidelined just under six weeks with an unspecified injury. Prior to landing on the IL, Low turned in a 1.23 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 13:6 K:BB in 7.1 innings as a pitcher and went 0-for-9 with a walk and seven strikeouts as a hitter.

  • Brewers' Quinton Low: On IL at Single-A

Low is on the 7-day injured list with Single-A Carolina with an undisclosed issue.

There hasn't been any reporting on the injury, but Low hasn't pitched since April 21. Still technically a two-way player, Low's future is on the mound, as he was touching 99 mph with a wipeout slider this season. The big 6-foot-4 righty has a 1.23 ERA and a 13:6 K:BB in 7.1 innings through three appearances.
