  • Angels' Adam McCreery: Promoted to big leagues

McCreery was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday.

McCreery was dealt to the Angels from the Dodgers in mid-July, and he'll get a chance with his new big-league club after allowing one run over 4.2 innings at Triple-A Salt Lake. He last appeared in the majors during the 2018 season with Atlanta, though his stint lasted just one contest.

  • Angels' Adam McCreery: Flipped to Angels

McCreery was traded across town from the Dodgers to the Angels on Friday along with Josh Thole in exchange for cash considerations.

McCreery owns a mediocre 4.04 ERA in 35.2 innings of relief across the two highest levels of the minors this season. The trade opens up a spot on the Dodgers' 40-man roster for A.J. Pollock (elbow), who returns from the 60-day injured list in a corresponding move.

  • Dodgers' Adam McCreery: Sent to Dodgers

McCreery was traded to the Dodgers from Atlanta on Wednesday in exchange for cash considerations.

In a corresponding move, the Dodgers designated Pat Venditte for assignment in order to make room on the 40-man roster for their newly-acquired pitcher. McCreery only appeared in one big-league game this past season but posted a 3.62 ERA and 71:37 K:BB across 54.2 innings between Double-A and Triple-A. In addition, the southpaw held left-handed hitters to a slash line of .218/.322/.282. He still has two options remaining so look for McCreery to begin the 2019 campaign back in the minor leagues.

McCreery was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday.

McCreery made his big-league debut during Thursday's loss to the Nationals, allowing two earned runs on four hits while striking out a pair in one inning of relief. He will be a candidate to return to Atlanta when the club requires a fresh arm in the bullpen.

  • Braves' Adam McCreery: Joins big club

McCreery was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday.

McCreery will take the roster spot of Max Fried (groin), who was sent to the disabled list after injuring himself during Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Nationals. The 25-year-old has only pitched one inning above the Double-A level, so he'll likely be limited to mop-up duty during his time with the major-league team.
