The Dodgers selected Kopp's contract from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
Kopp received a promotion to Triple-A in early July, after which he turned in a 4.56 ERA and 1.71 WHIP with a 41:20 K:BB across 25.2 innings. The 23-year-old's addition to the 40-man roster will prevent the Dodgers from losing him during the Rule 5 Draft, but he is likely to return to the minors once the 2026 campaign begins.
